Barbara “Bobbie” Jean Robinson

Barbara “Bobbie” Jean Robinson, 68, of Claypool, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022, at Kosciusko Community Hospital. Born January 10, 1954, in Prestonsburg, Kentucky Bobbie was the daughter of Alex and Audie Ellen (Reffitt) Shepherd. She was united in marriage to Larry Dean Robinson on June 24, 1971, in Warsaw, Indiana. Bobbie enjoyed being a housewife and taking care of her family.  She was a wonderful mom.  She enjoyed babysitting, cooking, canning from her garden and taking vacations to Kentucky. She was a member of the Harvest Community Church, Warsaw. Bobbie will be lovingly remembered by her husband Larry Dean Robinson of Claypool; 4 daughters, Kay (Brian) Brown, Mentone, Tammy (Randy) Hurd, Burket, Donna (Jeremy) Hassell, Warsaw, and Sheila (Jared) Miller, Syracuse; 1 son, Matthew Dean (Amber) Robinson, Claypool; 2 sisters Martha (Claude) Wallen, Warsaw and Evelene (Joe) Serovy, Warsaw. a sister in law, Toni Walker.  In addition, she is survived by grandchildren, Heaven, Nichole, Justin, Chandler, Alex, Connor, Gretchen, Aleelah, Isaiah, and Corrin, 1 great grandchild Meleah, several nieces and nephews and a large extended family. She was preceded in passing by both her parents, 4 sisters and 2 brothers. A visitation is planned from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 6, 2022, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A funeral service in celebration of her life will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday February 7, 2022, in the funeral chapel. Pastor Glenn Hall will be officiating. Interment will follow in Graceland Cemetery, Claypool. Masks are optional, and social distancing is encouraged. No food is permitted at this time.
