Anna Shepherd

Anna Lee Shepherd, 91 of Warsaw, Indiana went to be with her Lord and Savior. She died November 18, 2015 at 4:48 PM at Millers Merry Manor in Warsaw. She was born on December 12, 1923 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky to Carrie and Laura (Fugitt) Burke. She has lived in Kosciusko County since 1944, where she was a homemaker. On May 1, 1943 she was united in marriage to Billy Shepherd who preceded her in death on June 1, 2007. She is survived by her children, Billy Shepherd of Bourbon, Indiana, Donna Kay Wiechers of Seminole, Florida, Malcom (and spouse Lilly) Shepherd of Harvest, Alabama, Carrey (and spouse Susie) of Warsaw, Bobby Shepherd of Warsaw and Laura Brashere of Warsaw. Her sisters Addie Mae Rose of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, Esther (and spouse Robert) of Hubertus, Wisconsin and Virginia (and spouse Robert) Myers of Warsaw. Sister-in-laws-, Fannie (and spouse Robert) Cozzi of Warsaw and Mary (and spouse Dan) Murphy of Greeley, Colorado. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren, several great and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Billy Shepherd, five brothers Charles, Paul, Douglas, John and Malcom, a daughter Dorothea Ann Allen and a grandson Chris Bowser. A funeral service will be held Monday, November 23, 2015 at 11:00 AM at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel in Warsaw, Indiana with Pastor Terry Bradford presiding. Burial will follow the service at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. Visitation will be on Sunday, November 22, 2015 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel in Warsaw.
