Allen Sutherlin

Allen Sutherlin, 70 of Warsaw, Indiana, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2022 at Stillwater Hospice Care, Fort Wayne Indiana.

Allen was born on July 25, 1952 in Warsaw, Indiana the son of Dean and Virginia Sutherlin.

He was employed with Gatke Corporation and Johnson & Johnson Refrigeration Department. He was a volunteer at Our Father’s House and thoroughly enjoyed being a cook for the American Legion in Warsaw and Pierceton. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid Chicago Bears football fan.

Allen will be lovingly remembered by his children Jessica (Matthew) Manuel of Warsaw, Angie (Scott) Lung of Fort Wayne, Janet (James) Burke of Warsaw, and Allen Sutherlin of Clyde, OH; sister Connie (Paul) Slusher of Warsaw, 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in passing by both parents and 3 brothers.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday November 11, 2022 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels, 2290 Provident Ct. Warsaw. A celebration of Allen’s life will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Creassia Blackburn officiating. Interment will be at a later date in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
