Alice F Sparks

Alice F. Sparks, 76, of Warsaw, peacefully passed away at home on Thursday, December 7, 2023 with family by her beside.

Alice was born in Emma, Kentucky on May 21, 1947 to Allen and Magdline (Judd) Burkett. She attended Prestonsburg schools before her family moved to Warsaw, Indiana when she was 19 years old.

She married Jerry L. Sparks and welcomed two daughters. Along with being a devoted mother and housewife, the family farmed their land. She also worked in numerous businesses in the community.

Alice was a member of the Church of God in Colmer, Indiana.

She is dearly missed by her husband, Jerry, and their daughters, Judy (Jeremy) Cahill of Pierceton and Rita Slater of Warsaw; grandsons Dustin and Lane Cahill and his two daughters Addilynn and Amelia Cahill, of Warsaw. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Donnie Burkett, Tom Burkett, Carol Akers, Liz Campbell, Gene Burkett and an infant brother.

A private graveside service will be held at Washington Union Cemetery, Pierceton.

McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels, Warsaw have been entrusted with arrangements for the family.
