Alice Anderson

Alice Anderson, age 95 of Leesburg died October 8, 2015 at Kosciusko Community Hospital. She was born on July 23, 1920 in Iroquois, Illinois to Bert and Selma Simmons both of whom preceded her in death, in addition her step-father Crythal Smith preceded her in death. She had previously lived in Woodland, Illinois, DeMotte, Indiana, Monterey, Indiana, St. Joseph, Illinois, LeRoy, Illinois and has lived in Leesburg since September of 2011. On October 29, 1938 she married Lawrence B. Anderson in Delphi, Indiana who preceded her in death on March 13, 2003. She attended Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughters, Lynn (Ron) Moser of Leesburg and LaRie (Thomas) McGuire, Warsaw, Indiana, son Larry (Janet) Anderson of LeRoy, Illinois. She was preceded in death by a daughter, a son, five brothers and a sister. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. CST on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Gaffield Cemetery in Sheldon, Illinois with the Reverend Buddy Kuczyewski officiating, burial will also be at Gaffield Cemetery. There will be no local services. Memorial contributions are to be made to Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., 7th fl., New York, NY 10001 and/or American Legion Post # 49 C/O Nursing Scholarship Fund, 301 N. Buffalo St., Warsaw, IN 46580. McHatton –Sadler Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with all arrangements.
