Ruth E. Wiard

Ruth Evelyn Wiard, age 78 of Claypool, IN passed away Thursday April 26, 2012 at 4:15 PM in Kosciusko Community Hospital Warsaw, Indiana. She was born November 28, 1933 in Yale, IL to Gail G. and Lela (Gifford) Jeffers. She was a lifetime Kosciusko County, In resident. On June 17, 1965 in Warsaw, IN she was united in marriage to Paul E. Wiard. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. In addition, she was a Mission Worker for the United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband Paul Wiard of Claypool, IN; sons Bruce Wiard of Macy, IN, David A. (spouse Linda) Wiley of Warsaw, IN, Rex D. (spouse Lorraine) Wiley of Arcadia, IN; daughters Janet E. (spouse Phil) Schoonover of Wheaton, IN, Joyce K. (spouse Richard) Harding of Mentone, IN, Karen R. (spouse Scott) Schuster of Fishers, IN and Teresa J. (spouse Dathan) Reed of Claypool, IN; brother Roy L. Jeffers of Mentone, IN; sister Louise Nichols of Pierceton, IN; 23 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday April 30, 2012 at 11:00 AM in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel Warsaw, IN. Calling hours will be Sunday April 29, 2012 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at the Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Palestine Cemetery Palestine, IN. Pastor Robert R. Conelley will officiate the services.
