Robert “Bob” Fox Robert “Bob” Fox, age 85, of Warsaw, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2012, at 12:28 a.m. at Visiting Nurse Hospice Home, Fort Wayne, Indiana, with his wife and daughter by his side. He was born on April 28, 1927, to George and Ruth (Fisher) Fox in Milford, Indiana. He married Chris Grow on September 30, 1950, in Gravelton, Indiana. He was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County. Bob retired from NIPSCO after 37 years of service. He was a Crane Operator. Bob proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II in the Asiatic Pacific Theater. He was a member of the American Legion Post 49, Warsaw. Bob is survived by his wife, Chris, of Warsaw; one daughter, Diane (and spouse Jeff) Clay of Warsaw; grandchildren, Kristina (and spouse Dan) Sjurset of West Chicago, Illinois and Ryan Clay of Warsaw; one brother, Virgil (and spouse Irene) Fox of Sierra Vista, Arizona; two sisters, Marge (and spouse Max) Miller of Nappanee, Indiana and Lois (and spouse Dave) Hostetter of Middlebury, Indiana; one brother in law, William Grow and companion, Marlene Blackford, both of Warsaw; one sister in law, Zenal (and spouse Earl) Brown of Nappanee; many nieces and nephews.He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Owen and Andy Fox, and two sisters, Melba Spence and Dorothy Adams. Bob enjoyed traveling, reading, having coffee with friends, playing cards with family, and fishing. He has traveled to all fifty states, and made a special trip to tour Europe on their 50th wedding anniversary. He loved to visit his brother in Arizona and go hiking in the mountains. Most of all he loved being with his wife, grandchildren, his daughter and family get-togethers. There will be a graveside service on Saturday, December 8, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, with military honors by the American Legion Post 49 and VFW Post 1126, both of Warsaw. Chaplain Bob Jarboe (Kosciusko Home Care Hospice) will officiate the service.
