Richard Lawrence Kehoe, Jr, 65, of Winona Lake, Indiana, died on 11/7/2010 at 8:11 am at Lutheran Hospital, Ft. Wayne, Indiana. He was born on Sepember 5, 1945 in Yonkers, New York. Richard was born to Richard Sr. and Anne Onorato Kehoe. On June 29, 1996 he married the love of his life Kerry Owen Anglin, who survives. He was raised in Warsaw and was a 1963 graduate of Warsaw Community High School and a 1968 graduate of Manchester College in North Manchester. In 1973 he graduated from Notre Dame School of Law in South Bend. Before admission to the bar, he was a teacher of speech and director of drama and forensics for 5 years in the Plymouth community schools. He practiced law in Rochester, Indiana for 28 years, where he also served as Deputy Chief Prosecuting Attorney. He was a Mason, the past President of the Fulton National Republican Party and Fulton County Leadership Academy, a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and most recently attended Warsaw Community Church. He acted as an interim pastor for several community churches and was visiting speaker regularly for organizations and retirement facilities. He lived his life to serve God and others. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, brother, son, and husband and will be missed, not only by his family, but also by his many dear friends. Surviving are his mother, Jean Kehoe, Warsaw; his children: Heather (and spouse Doug) Fiandt, Warsaw; Kacy (and spouse John) Hopper, Logansport; seven Grandchildren: David Heminger, Mitchell Fiandt, Grant Fiandt, Ryan Hopper, Caitlin Hopper, Ethan Hopper and Jacob Hopper; one Great-Grandchild: Caden Runyan-Heminger; a sister, Sheila (and spouse Rick) Ellis, Leesburg; a brother, Kerry K. Kehoe, Warsaw; two brothers-in-law: Gary Stutzman, Atwood; Hap Anglin, Winona Lake; a sister-in-law, Janice Long; two nephews: Nick and Ross Stutzman; a niece, Trudy Leek and several great –nieces and nephews. He leaves behind beloved friends David and Elizabeth Kintzel. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Lawrence Hudson; his mother Anne “Onoratto” Kehoe; a step-mother, Wanda Kehoe; his father, Richard L. Kehoe, Sr.; a father-in-law, Don Anglin; mother-in-law, Pearl Anglin; a sister, Sherri Rae Stutzman and two brothers-in-law: Kay Don Anglin and Glen Long and a sister-in-law, Bonnie Anglin. Reverend Andy Martin (Trinity United Methodist Church)will conduct the services. Services will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church, 832 E Center St., Warsaw on Friday, November 12, 2010 at 11:00 am. Calling hours will be 4-8 pm at the funeral chapel on Thursday, November 11, 2010. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery - Warsaw, IN.
