She was born on November 17, 1932 in Floyd County, Kentucky. Her parents were Kelly and Sally (Shepherd) Shepherd.She was a resident of Warsaw and Claypool, Indiana. She married Quinton Vires on July 7, 1962. He preceded on May 21, 2005.Nawasa was a homemaker.Surviving are 2 daughters Deborah Jane Mattews of Columbia, South Carolina and Pamela Sue Hotte of North Charleston, South Carolina.1 son Claude Leroy (and spouse Marry Ann)Wood of Warsaw, Indiana.11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.She was peceded in death by her husband, 1 son 5 sisters and 6 brothers. The service will be officated by 1 sister Vada (and spouse Wheeler) Conley of Warsaw, Indiana. The service will be officated by William and Wayne Whitaker. Services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel - Warsaw on Thursday April 23, 2009 at 12:00 PM. Calling hours will be 2 hours prior to the service on Thursday April 23, 2009.
