Navona Brown

Navona Brown age 65, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday August 8th, 2011 at 5:24 PM in Lutheran Hospital, Ft. Wayne. On April 5, 1946, Navona was born to Eugene and Flora (Daniels) Rice in Harlan Kentucky. She was a Warsaw, IN resident for the past 35 years. Navona married George F. Brown on December 2, 1976 in Warsaw, IN. She is remembered by family as a wonderful loving mother and wife. Navona retired from the Kosciusko Community Hospital in 1998 after working in the Communications Department. Navona is survived by her loving husband George F. Brown of Warsaw, IN, two daughters Leveda Bird and husband Sam of Bourbon, Cheryl Yevette Hartman of Warsaw, one son Jason Ray Brown of Warsaw along with five grandchildren Carissa Long, Lonnie Dillon, Alisha, Russel and Mason Bird. Navona is also survived by a brother Jerry Rice and sister Brenda Rice Craig both of Pathfork, Ky. Navona was preceded in death by her Mother and Father. Funeral services for Navona will be at 1:00 pm Thursday August 11th, 2011 with visitation one hour prior to service at the McHatton Sadler Funeral Chapel in Warsaw with Don Roulo officiating. Burial will be at the Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
