Mary L. Philpot

Mary L. Philpot, age 75, of Warsaw, Indiana passed away December 13, 2011 9:12 PM in Kosciusko Community Hospital Warsaw, Indiana. On December 30, 1945, Mary was born in Manchester, Kentucky to Beve and Cassie (Bundy) Crawford. She married James Philpot on May 21, 1955 in Jellico, Tennessee. He preceded her in death on July 13, 2002. Mary was a resident of Warsaw for the past 55 years. She was formerly employed by DePuy Inc for 22 years, retiring in 1999. She was also a member of Warsaw Baptist Church. She was survived by a daughter, Betty (and spouse Joe) Leek, Warsaw; son, James R. (and companion Jodi Schelmadine) Philpot, Warsaw; grandson, Ryan (and spouse Lindsey) Leek, Warsaw; great grandson, Parker Leek, Warsaw; 3 sisters, Billy Sue Abner and Ruby Hensley, both of Manchester, Kentucky and Nancy Hoskins, Warsaw; brother, Ronnie Crawford, Manchester, Kentucky. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother and 1 sister. Funeral services will be at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, Friday, December 16, 2011 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. Visitation hours will be from 4:00 - 6:00 pm, Thursday, December 15, 2011 at the funeral chapel.
