Mary Belle Norris, 97, of Otterbein Senior Lifestyle Choices, St. Marys, Oh died 10:30 pm Tuesday, November 15. She was born December 29, 1913, In Kosciusko County, Indiana to James and Florence Stackhouse. On October 18, 1932, she married Earl E. Norris who died July 22, 1992, after almost 60 years of marriage. Surviving is a daughter, Betty (James) Phillips, of Celina, Ohio; two grandsons, Dr. Stephen (Rachael) Phillips, Upland, Indiana; Dr. Brad (Mary Kay) Phillips, Honduras, Central America; six great grandchildren, nine great great grandchildren; two sister in laws, Ruth Warner, Avon Park, Florida; Phyllis Stackhouse, Westfield, Indiana. Proceed in death by eight brothers, Zeno, Beryl, Rev. Dale, Hilbert, Floyd, Don, Illo, and Marion. She was a homemaker and book keeper. She graduated from High school in Etna Green Indiana, in 1932 and lived in Warsaw, Indiana, for 65 years before moving Celina, Ohio, in 1997 and then to Otterbein Senior Lifestyle Choices in 2004. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Celina, Ohio, and had been a member of the United Methodist Women, Mercer County Senior Citizens, Warsaw First Baptist Church Women's Group and Warsaw's Mothers Study Group. She and her husband spent their summers at their cottage in Birchwood, Wisconsin. Services are 11:00 am Friday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, Ohio; the Rev. Carol Sainey officiating. Calling is 4-7 pm. Thursday and one hour before services at Cisco Funeral Home. Calling will be Saturday 10-11 am with a Memorial Service at 11:00 am at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel Warsaw, Indiana. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery Warsaw Memorial Contributions can be made to “Tree of Hope,” for benevolent care at Otterbein Senior Lifestyle Choices.
