Lee E. Gadson, 90, of North Manchester passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at 6:15 AM in Peabody Retirement Home. He was born on April 18, 1927 in Marshfield, Wisconsin to Gail and Alice (Miner) Gadson. On January 12, 1952 in Rensselear, Indiana he was united in marriage to Betty Alberts, who preceded him on September 1, 2017. He was a truck driver and worked for R.R. Donnelly’s for 19 ½ years. He was a member of the Atwood Otterbein Church. He proudly served in the United States Navy as a Seaman during WW II and was a member of the Wabash American Legion Post #15. In addition, he had a love for the outdoors and was an avid hunter, fisherman, and motorcyclist. He covered all four coroners of our beautiful nation on his motorcycle’s. He is survived by his daughters; Betty Ann (spouse Bob) Justice of Crestview, Florida, Myra (spouse Gary Georgia) Gadson of Placitas, New Mexico, sons; Steven (spouse Janice) Gadson of North Fort Myers, Florida and Jerry (spouse Marie) Gadson of Warsaw, Indiana. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. He was preceded by his wife Betty and his parents. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 5, 2018 at 11:00 AM in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Monday, March, 2018 in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Pastor Jim Lawson will officiate the Funeral Service. Interment will be in Stony Point Cemetery, Etna Green, IN. Military honors will be provided by the United States Navy Honor Guard, American Legion Post #49 and VFW 1126.
