Kay Lingofelter, 78, of Warsaw, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 10, 2023 where she spent her last days surrounded by friends and family whom she loved dearly.
Kay was born on September 20, 1945 in Warsaw the daughter of John and Susie (Brandenburg) Kindle. She was united in marriage to Jan Lingofelter on June 28, 1964, who proceeded her in death.
She worked as a manager for Bird World near downtown Warsaw and attended Walnut Creek Church. Kay was an active member of the YMCA attending nearly every day. Kay was a fighter, she was a 20 year survivor of West Nile Virus and a 10 year survivor of breast cancer.
Kay leaves behind two children Lane (Taj-Marie) of Warsaw, IN and Shawn of Columbus, OH, two granddaughters Lindsay and Addison, many nieces and nephews, also surviving is a twin brother Ray (Nancy) Kindle of Warsaw, IN. She is reunited in Heaven with her parents John and Suzie (Brandenburg) Kindle, her husband Jan and many brothers and a sister.
A visitation with family and friends will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels, 2290 Provident Ct. Warsaw. Funeral services in celebration of Kay’s life will begin at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 in the funeral chapel with Abe Hepler officiating. Interment will be at a later date.
