Joann J. Edwards

JoAnn J. Edwards, 84, of Warsaw, Indiana, passed away at 10:15 am on June 23, 2011 in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. On March 21, 1927, JoAnn was born to William and Pansy (Clark) McGinnis in Mishawaka, Indiana. She moved to Fort Wayne early in life then returned to Warsaw 17 years ago. She married Howard Edwards on March 17, 1962 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He preceded her in death on December 28, 1988. JoAnn worked for Magnavox in Fort Wayne. She is survived by a daughter, Colleen Edwards and her companion Sherie Pratt, Warsaw. 1 Sister, Dorothy Grow, Claypool. 2 grandchildren, Jeremy Kelly and Jessica Kelly, both of Warsaw and 2 great grandchildren, Autum and Sebastion Kelly, both of Warsaw. JoAnn was also preceded in death by 5 brothers, Paul McGinnis, William McGinnis, Adrien McGinnis, Aaron McGinnis and Tommy McGinnis. 4 Sisters, Geraldine Ervin, Bonnis Blosser, Norma Himes and Peggy Drabenstott. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 27, 2011 at 1:00 pm at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. Visiation hours will be from 11:00 - 1:00 pm, Monday, June 27, 2011 at the funeral chapel. The family has requested memorial contributions are be to made to JoAnn J. Edwards Funeral Fund, C/o Colleen Edwards.
