Jeanne Elaine Silveus, age 90, of Warsaw, Indiana passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 4:30 PM in Millers Merry Manor, Warsaw. She was born in Mishawaka, IN August 27, 1924 to Clarence W. and Anna Mae (Holloway) Best. She was united in marriage to James C. Mac Silveus on July 12, 1943. She was a lifetime Warsaw resident. A member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Warsaw she was active in the Rosary Alter Society and the RCIA Team at the Church. In addition, she was a member of Lambda Chi Omega Sorority and was longtime volunteer for Right to Life of North Central Indiana. She was formerly employed by Warsaw Community High School in the Attendance Office, Study Hall and the Cafeteria. Survivors include seven children; James Christian “Chris” (spouse Mary) Silveus of Indianapolis, Indiana; Anthony “Tony” Silveus of Warsaw, Indiana; Pattijean (spouse Tom) Cullen of Atlanta, Georgia; Scott (spouse Melissa) Silveus of Warsaw, Indiana; Toby (spouse Tony) Sumpter of Warsaw, Indiana; Renee' Tripp of Warsaw, Indiana and Lisa (spouse Ahmet) Savasir of Fishers, IN. In addition, 25 Grandchildren and 40 Great-Grandchildren survive Jeanne. Her husband, a daughter Vicki Clemens and sisters Patricia Pifer and Betty Rizer preceded her. Visitation hours are scheduled from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 with a Rosary Service at 7:30 PM in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Scared Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw with Father Phil DeVolder officiating.
