Janice Kay Busz

Janice Kay Busz, age 72, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday April 2, 2012 at 6:30 pm in her residence in Pierceton. On February 10, 1940, Janice was born to Harry and Velma (Hively) Staley in Columbia City, Indiana. On May 6th, 1960, she married James Edward Busz in Columbia City, who survives. A lifetime resident of Pierceton in Kosciusko County, Janice will be remembered by many as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed being with her family, her grandchildren and taking many trips to Las Vegas with her loving husband along with being a lifetime bowler. During her life, Janice was employed at the phone company in Columbia City, Murphy Medical Center, Arnolds Corporation, Whitley Products and Heaters Incorporated. Janice served as Pierceton Town Clerk between 1976-1980. Janice retired from Wal Mart of Warsaw where she is remembered as a friendly greeter. Janice enjoyed attending the Pierceton Presbyterian Church, was a member of the Eastern Star and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Pierceton American Legion. Janice is survived by her husband James, son Jeff and spouse Cindy Busz of Warsaw, Indiana; son James Busz of Columbia City, Indiana; son Joseph and spouse Krista Busz of Manchester, Indiana; sister Ruth and spouse Dr. Greg Woodham of Sanabel Island, Florida; brother Dr. Harry Staley and spouse Lisa of Indianapolis, Indiana; grandchildren Jason, Andrew, Mariah, Ryan, Chaz, Kaleb and Logan. Janice was preceded in death by her Mother and Father. Funeral services for Janice will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 11:00 am at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Pierceton. Visitation will be on Monday, April 9, 2012 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm and one hour prior to the funeral service at the Pierceton Funeral Chapel. Pastor Billy Smith will be officating the service. Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton following the service. The family has asked for memorials to be made to the Kosciusko County Homecare and Hospice Inc., P.O. Box 1196, Warsaw, Indiana 46581-1196.
