Jane E. Witner

Jane E. Witner, 90 of Winona Lake, Indiana,originally from South Bend and Dearborn, Michigan, passed away at 4:44 am, Friday, May 18, 2012 at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. On May 30th, 1921, Jane was born in Peru, Indiana to George R. and Belva L. (Burt) Love. She married Edgar Witner on May 20th, 1945 in South Bend, Indiana. He preceded her in death on January 8th, 1999. She moved to Grace Village Assisted Living and Healthcare Center, Winona Lake, from Dearborn, Michigan, in 2005. She was a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Jane was survived by three daughters, Carol (and spouse Phil) Sparrow, Warsaw; Marcia Ulrich, Southgate, Michigan and Patricia Koza, Dearborn Heights, Michigan; one son, Christopher (and spouse Susan) Witner, Muskegon, Michigan; 14 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 3:00 pm, Saturday, May 19, 2012 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw with Pastor Jerry Thomas officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 – 3:00 pm Saturday, May 19, 2012 at the funeral chapel. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery, South Bend, Indiana.
