James Edward Loser, 92 of Leesburg, Indiana passed away Tuesday April 18, 2017 at 3:25 a.m. in Leesburg. He was born on April 17, 1925 to James Clifford and Cecilla Blanche (Hatton) Loser in Culver, Indiana. James was a WW II veteran of the U.S. Army receiving a Bronze Star, Purple Heart. He moved to Warsaw, after serving his country, to help his father and brother Jack with the Indiana Motor Bus Company. The business was moved to Fort Wayne in 1971 and it became Summit Coaches in 1980’s. After his retirement, he started a golf cart business, “The Old Pro Shop” in Clunette, Indiana. He married Elaine (Korth) on May 22, 1970 in Warsaw. She preceded him on September 13, 2016. James was a member of the Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church. He was also a member of American Legion Post #49, Warsaw for over 50 years, a member of Tippy Country Club and a member of VFW Post #1126, Warsaw. He is survived by his daughters, Renie Loser of Warsaw; and, Allison (husband Kevin) Robie of Leesburg; five grandchildren, Mona, Jason, Ryan, Adrian and Stephanie and eight great grandchildren. He is also preceded in death by his parents; his son George Day; sisters, Virginia Darr, Marian Rose Huss, JoAnna Sheline; brothers, Carl Loser and Jack Loser. A funeral service will be held on Saturday April 22, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church with Dr. Erik Ohman officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw with military honors by the American legion Post $49 and VFW Post #1126, Warsaw and Military Funeral Honor Guard. A visitation will be held on Friday April 21, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. In Lieu of flowers, the family is kindly requesting that the memorial contribution may be made to Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 210 S. High Street, Warsaw, Indiana 46580 or to The Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8517.
