James David Lanham, 64 of Clunette passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at 6:25 a.m. at IU Health Hospital Goshen, Indiana. He was born on January 20, 1948 to James Edmond and Dorothy (Keen) Lanham in Charleston, West Virginia. He married Kimberly Thomas on March 9, 1990 Kentucky. He retired from Wal-Mart. He was a shift manager. James proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1965 to 1968. He attended New Hope Baptist Church in Warsaw. He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Lanham of Clunette; two sons, James Lanham II of Clunette and Brady (and spouse Chelsea) Lanham of Yakama, Washington; two daughters Wendy (and spouse Cory) Ryan of Bossier City, Louisiana and Crystal (and spouse Justin) Kinsey of Pierceton. One brother Garry (and spouse Kathy) Lanham of Sisonville, West Virginia; 8 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by 1 brother, Brady Lanham. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. Chaplain Bob Jarboe will be officiating the service. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Memorial contributions are to the K21 Health Foundation Cancer Care Fund, 2170 North Pointe Dr., Warsaw, IN 46582.
