Herbert E. Creamer

Herbert E. “Herb” Creamer age 81, passed away on Sunday April 22, 2012 at 7:30 pm at the Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. On December 14, 1930 Herbert was born to Floyd and Uvah (Stansberry) Creamer in Lincolnville, IN. He lived most of his life in Kosciusko County. On October 19th, 1952 Herbert married Loa Dean Cummings whom preceded him death on March 16th, 2004. Herb served in the United States Marines during the Korean Conflict in 1950 through 1952 while serving on the U.S.S. Boxer. After his service term with the Marines, Herb owned and operated the H D Creamer Company here in Warsaw and retired in 2010. Herb was a life time member of the American Legion Post #49 of Warsaw, Past Commander of 40 8, a life time member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1126 and a life time member of the Moose Lodge. Herb is survived by two daughters; Lesa (spouse Keith) Sexton, Ashland Ohio and Laura (Fiancée Gene Lord) Knoop, Warsaw. Along with two sons; Randy (spouse Kathy) Creamer, Silver Lake IN., and Pat Creamer of Warsaw. A companion Sue Rhoades of Warsaw In., two brothers; Dwayne (spouse Susan) Creamer of Warsaw IN., and Marvin (spouse Fran) Creamer, Arkansas; and a sister Mary (spouse Chuck) Carpenter of Etna Green, IN.; ten Grandchildren and eleven Great Grandchildren.Herb was preceded in death by his Mother and Father, one son Michael Creamer, a Sister Wilma Creamer, along with his spouse. Funeral services for Herb will be held at Wednesday April 25th, 2012 at 11:00am at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Visitation will be on Tuesday April 24th from 5:00pm to 8:00 pm at the Funeral Chapel Warsaw. Chaplain Tom Everett will be officiating the service. Burial will be at the Oakwood Cemetery with Military Honors. The family requests memorial contributions are to be made to American Legion Post #49, Nursing Scholarship Fund, 301 North Buffalo Street, Warsaw, Indiana 46580.
