Garry Glen Slone

Garry Glen Slone, 62, of Claypool, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022 in his residence. Born on February 23, 1959, in Prestonsburg, Kentucky, Garry was the son of Ike and Gracie (Whitaker) Slone. He formerly worked as a forklift driver for R.R. Donnelley & Sons for 30 years, retiring in 2013. Garry is survived by his children, Shawna L. Sagnon of Fort Wayne, Dustin R. Slone of Claypool; four siblings, Theria Mae Newsome and Patricia Warrix of Warsaw, Elizabeth Slone and Eugene Slone of Prestonsburg; 4 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. He was preceded in passing by two siblings, Brenda Holland and Jeffery Slone. All services are private with Pastor Frank Whitaker officiating. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw is entrusted with arrangements for the family.
