Freman “Curly” Neher, 93 of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at 10:10 am, Saturday January 26, 2013 in his residence. On February 16, 1919, he was born in Rochester, Indiana to Herman and Mabel (Mreed) Neher. He was united in marriage to Amy Berniece Perry on August 19, 1942 in Redondo Beach, California. She preceded him in death on March 7, 2005. A lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, Freman served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He then worked for Gatke Inc. for 37 years until his retirement in 1974. He was a lifetime member of American Legion Post #49, Warsaw. He is survived by his daughter, Anne Marie (and spouse Don) Grimm, Warsaw; son, Stephen Neher, Warsaw; grandson, Andrew Grimm, Warsaw; four sisters, Cordela (and spouse Paul) Taylor, Sun City, Arizona, Audry (and spouse Rich) Stephan, Bippus, Florida, Maxine Venner, Huntington and Gazetta (and spouse Skeet) Haines, Crawfordsville. There are no services or visitation planned. Burial will be at a later date.
