Francisco Valdez Jr. 67, of Warsaw, Indiana, passed away on Friday, May 4, 2012 at 8:38 am in his residence. On February 9th, 1945, he was born to Francisco and Aurora M (Mireles) Valdez Sr. in Eagle Pass, Texas. Living most of is his life in Warsaw, Francisco was employed as a machine operator for Symmetry Medical, Warsaw. He loved music, especially “The Blues”. He also enjoyed watching football and baseball and his favorite teams the Bears and the Cubs. Francisco loved his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. Francisco is survived by his son, Frank Christopher (and spouse Lynn) Valdez, Mentone; daughter, Tracey (and spouse Justin) Miner, Pierceton; mother, Aurora M. Valdez, San Antonio, Texas; two sisters, Maria ( and spouse Leonardo) De La Luz-Banda, Eagle Pass, Texas and Juanita (and spouse Jose) Yzquierdo, Mont Belvieu, Texas; brother, Jesus Valdez, San Antonio, Texas; seven grandchildren, Felicia Miner, Austin Miner, Madison Miner, Ryan Valdez, Jason Gibbs, David Stover and Joni Sauer; six great grandchildren, Jayla Sauer, Trinity Sauer, Jaxson Stover, David Stover, Peyton Stover and Miaha Stover. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cecilio and Herlinda Mireles. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:OO AM on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Pierceton with Father Dale Bauman officiating. Burial will follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Pierceton. Visitation hours will be from 2:00 - 8:00 pm on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Pierceton. The family requests memorial contributions are to be made to Kosciusko County Homecare and Hospice, P.O. Box 1196, Warsaw, Indiana 46581-1196.
