Elizabeth R. Plew, age 86, of Warsaw, Indiana passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 1:10 PM in Mason Health Care and Rehabilitation, Warsaw. She was born December 30, 1927 in Warsaw, Indiana to Herbert B. and Ruth Madaline (Bollinger) Robinson. She was lifetime resident of Warsaw, IN and graduated from Warsaw High School where she was a member of G.A.A. and played saxophone in the Warsaw High School Band. She was united in marriage to George Plew on June 14, 1958 in Warsaw. She was a graduate from the Ball Memorial Hospital School of Nursing where she received her degree as a Registered Nurse. During her nursing career she served the Warsaw Community Schools a Public School Nurse and served in the offices of Dr. Dormeir and Dr. Bibler. In addition to Nursing, she taught Physical Education at Warsaw Community High School for 11 years. She attended the First United Methodist Church of Warsaw. Survivors include her husband George Plew of Warsaw, IN and sisters Eleanor Gill of San Jose. CA and Ruth Shenefield of Warsaw, IN. Sisters Marguerite Gilliam, Herberta Munson and brother Cameron Robinson preceded her. Visitation hours are scheduled from 3:00 to 7:00 PM on Monday, April 21, 2014 in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A private interment service will be held in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
