Edward Robert Neville, 90, Warsaw, died February 20, 2012 at Gardens at Lake City, Warsaw. He was born September 11, 1921 in Chicago, Illinois to William and Ruth Neville. On May 27, 1950, he married Marjorie Grace Thon, who preceded him in death on November 20, 2011. Surviving are three children; Douglas (Kim), Warsaw; Richard (Janet), Eden Prairie, MN and Lori Neville, Winona Lake. Four grandchildren Eric, Melissa, Stuart and Meredith. Ed was a 50 year member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Warsaw holding multiple leadership positions during his service as an active member. He was a President and Treasurer of Rozella Ford Golf Course in the 60s and 70s and a member of Stonehenge Golf Club. During his 46 year working career, he was proud to say he only had two employers: Uncle Sam and RR Donnelley. He was a veteran of World War II with the 75th Infantry Division in combat action during the Battle of the Bulge and Ardennes. He achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant and was honorably discharged on January 28th, 1946. Ed began his employment with RR Donnelly in Chicago on November 9, 1939. He accepted transfer to the new RRD Warsaw Division in 1960 and began teaching classes in the Preliminary Department. He held many supervisory positions and retired on February 28th, 1986. Services will be held at 10:30 am, Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Warsaw with Pastor Stuart Floyd officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. Visitation hours will be from 2:00 8:00 pm, Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Memorial contributions are to be made to Hope Hospice, P.O. Box 621, Rochester, Indiana 46975.
