Earl 'Wayne' Brown, 64, of Warsaw, Indiana, died on 3/25/2010 at 8:15 pm at Mason Health Care Center, Warsaw, Indiana. He was born on August 31, 1945 in Milan, Indiana. Wayne was born to Elmer and Lucy (Stopher) Brown. On August 16, 1996, he married Judith Reed Huffer in Rising Sun, Indiana.Wayne was a member of the United States Air Force from 1965 - 1969 where he served as a Crew Chief on a refueling plane over Vietnam. He was stationed in Okinawa, Japan and Carswell Air Force Base, Texas.Wayne was a member of the American Legion Post #185, Vevay, Indiana and the American Quarter Horse Association.He worked in supervision most of his life, most recently as General Manager of Bob Evans Farms Restaurant in Warsaw, Indiana which he called his dream job. He previously owned a flower shop in Vevay, Indiana. Wayne loved playing golf and fishing. he loved people and talking. He will be missed by not only his family, but also by his many friends.Wayne also loved Spring because it was his time to plant flowers and also fouling time. He loved and raised horses for many years. Brown and a Sister, Marjorie 'Jean' Tyler. Services will be held at Markland Funeral Home, Rising Sun, Indiana on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 with Reverend Jim Jenkin at 11:00 am. Calling hours will be 1:00 - 5:00 pm at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw on Sunday, March 28, 2010. Burial will be at Rising Sun New Cemetery, Rising Sun, Indiana with military honors.. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, Indiana is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will also be from 5:00 - 8:00 pm, Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at Markland Funeral Home, Rising Sun, Indiana.The family requests memorial contributions be made to your local 4-H Horse and Pony Club or to the American Heart Association, P.O.
