Diana Lackey, 76 of Warsaw passed away Monday, May 5, 2014 at 10:25 a.m. in Millers Merry Manor, Warsaw. She was born on July 4, 1937 to Willard D Hawley and Orpha (Keck) Hawley in Kosciusko County, Indiana. Diana graduated from Nappanee High School in 1955. Diana loved the sport of bowling and was a member of the Warsaw Wesleyan Church. She retired from United Telephone Service as a Telephone Operator. Diana is survived by a son Brad (and spouse Angel) Hamilton of Warsaw; two daughters Cathy (and spouse David) Rapp of Warsaw; Dawn (and spouse Roger) Ransbottom of Warsaw; two sisters Betty (and spouse Ed) Krause of Kokomo, IN.; Mary (and spouse Jerry) Lumadue of Michigan; two brothers Patrick (and spouse Debra) Hawley of North Carolina; John (and spouse Barbara) Hawley of Florida; 12 grandchildren, Chrissy, Cheyenne, Tiffany, Karrin, David, Tyvan, Bobby, Daren, Alan, Brycelyn, Mackenzie, and Maxwell. Also 5 great grandchildren, Ezra, Kylie, Presley, Canton, and Colt along with several nieces and nephews. Diana was preceded in death by her parents and a sister and a son Robert L. Lackey. Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, May 9, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel in Warsaw, Indiana. Pastor Wanda Carter will officiate the service. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, May 8, 2014. Interment will be at Union-Center Cemetery Nappanee, Indiana.
