Devon Earl Love, 82 of Warsaw died on Wednesday July 20, 2011 at 11:00 pm in Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center, Warsaw.He was born on December 27, 1928 in Akron, IN to Russell and Martha (Becraft) LoveHe married Marjorie Plotner on September 6, 1951 in Mishawaka, IN. He retired in 1988 from Sun Metal Products, Working in Research and Development.Devon was in the US Navy reserves then going active Army serving in the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Warsaw American Legion Post #49He attended Dutchtown Brethren Church.Devon enjoyed bowling, golf and woodworking. He is survived by his wife Marjorie Love of Warsaw3 Sons Carl (and spouse Kathy) Love of Warsaw David (and spouse Chris) Love of Middlebury Dale Love of Claypool. 1 daughter Brenda (and spouse Duane) Roberts of Leesburg.7 grandchildren 1 in the US Air Force stationed in Guam6 great grandchildrenPreceded in death by 2 brothers Royce and Dick Love. Services will be on Monday July 25, 2011 at 1:00 pm at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.Calling is planned for Sunday July 24, 2011 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.Pastor Denny Bollenbacher will officiate the services. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw with Military Honor by the Warsaw American Legion post 49, VFW Post 1126 and Indiana ARNG Honor Guard.
