Due to the current situation of the Coronavirus restrictions the family has decided to make changes to previous funeral plans. A memorial service will be announced and held at a later date as conditions allow. Dawn L. Parker, age 90, of Silver Lake, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at 4:07 AM in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. With family at her side, she departed our World to join her Husband and Daughter in God’s Heavenly World. Dawn was born on June 27, 1929 in Burket, Indiana to Mondo “Cy” and Fay M. McIntyre. She was united in marriage to Raymond Jay Parker on June 27, 1947 in Burket, Indiana: who preceded her in death in 2002. She graduated from Burket High School in 1947. She was a lifelong Kosciusko County resident. Dawn was a member of Center United Methodist Church, Silver Lake. She spent her life devoted to her family and served as the “chief cook” for over 70 years on the family dairy farm. Dawn is survived by children; Jon (Mitzi) Parker of Commerce, TX, Ted (Tammi) Parker, Chris (Amey) Parker both of Silver Lake, IN, sister; Patricia Powell of Burket, IN, 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, R. Jay Parker, daughter; Pamela (Larry) Puls, brother; Marion E. McIntyre. A Public Visitation will be held on Friday, March 20, 2020 from 11:00 AM -1:00 PM at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. All other services will be private. Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery, Silver Lake. All arrangements are entrusted to McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.
