Curtis E. Ousley

Curtis E. Ousley, age 83, of Pierceton, Indiana passed away Friday April 13, 2012 at 7:22 PM in Parkview Regional Medical Center Fort Wayne, IN. He was born January 19, 1929 in Floyd County, KY to Jim and Cynthia (Bradley) Ousley. Curtis was united in marriage to Alice M. Pitts on March 29, 1952 in Prestonsburg, KY. Alice preceded him on October 31, 20107. Curtis was a Kosciusko County, IN resident sine 1962. He was formerly employed as a Coal Miner and by Dana Corporation of Syracuse, IN from 1966 to 1991. In addition, he was self-employed on the family farm. Survivors include his sons Mitchell (spouse Merla) Ousley of Warsaw, IN and Wendell (spouse Marg) Ousley of Pierceton, IN; a daughter Rita (spouse Ken) Caudill of Pierceton, IN, brothers Manis and Ashland Ousley of Prestonsburg, KY; grandchildren Joshua, Chad, Natalie, Daisy and Justin Ousley; Alice Marie and Stephen Caudill and a step grandson Brett McPeak. Also, great-grandchildren Maggie, Carson, Bradley and Miranda survive. A brother Billy, and sisters Lurannie and Nancy preceded him in death. Visitation hours are scheduled for 2:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday April 17, 2012 in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel Warsaw, IN. His funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday April 18, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Northern Little Dove Church Sidney, IN with visitation from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.Ministers of the Old Regular Baptist Northern Little Dove Church will conduct the service. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery Pierceton, IN. The family requests memorial contributions to be made to Northern Little Dove Church 6981 S.
