Clarence Zimmerman, 84 of Warsaw, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2011 at 7:35 am in his residence.The son of John and Rose (Dreher) Zimmerman, he was born on December 25, 1926 in Schenchen, Kansas. He moved to Warsaw from Frankfort, Illinois in 1996. He married Irene L. Keegan on October 16, 1999 in Warsaw. Clarence worked as a high pressure welder for Local #597 Pipe Fitters Union, retiring in 1980. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw and also a member of Knights of Columbus for 50 years. He had a love for dancing and for flowers. Clarence is survived by his wife; Irene L. Zimmerman, Warsaw; two daughters, Connie (and spouse Scott) Leturno, Plainfield, Illinois and Claudette (and spouse Marc) Przymanowski, Naperville, Illinois; one step-daughter, Michelle Myers, Warsaw; one brother, Connie Zimmerman, Hays, Kansas; ten grandchildren, Chris, Michael, Carrie, Amanda, Catherine, Elizabeth, Richard, Brianna, Taylor and Alexis and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lorraine Zimmerman; son, Timothy Zimmerman; daughter, Colleen Zimmerman and 8 brothers. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw, with Father Phil DeVolder officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. There are no visitation hours planned. The family requests memorial contributions be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 125 North Harrison Street, Warsaw, Indiana 46580. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw is in charge of arrangements.
