Charles Thomas

Charles H. “Charley” Thomas, age 62, of Warsaw, IN passed away Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 9:50 am in Kosciusko Community Hospital Warsaw, IN. He was born September 15, 1948 in Wolf Lake, IN to Ernest and Dorthea (Burwell) Thomas. He was a lifetime resident of Warsaw, IN. On December 13, 1980 he was united in marriage to Susan Jordan. He was formerly employed by PEPSICO, Inc and Warsaw Foundry both of Warsaw, IN. In September of 2010 he retired from Dalton Foundries of Warsaw, IN as Lead Man after 32 years of service. Charley was a avid NASCAR and Jef Gordon fan, an avid fisherman and woodworker. He is survived by his wife Sue Thomas of Warsaw, IN; 3 sons Charley (and fiancé’ Jenni) Thomas of Warsaw, IN; Jeremy (and spouse Angell) Thomas of North Manchester, IN; Edward “Ed” Thomas of Warsaw, IN; a daughter Janice (and spouse Bill) Hyde of Leesburg, IN; sisters Annabelle Evans of Warsaw, IN; Ramona Hektor of Rochester, IN; grandchildren Brandon Breece;Cody Thomas; Austin and Braxton Hyde; Brookie Thomas; and father and mother-in-law William and Janet Hyde. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 am on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at 10:00 am in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel Warsaw. Calling hours will be from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Tuesday, June 21, 2011. Interment will in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, IN. Chaplain Denny Bollenbacher will officiate the services, Ted Skeans will provide the eulogy.
