Billie G. Mcguire

Billie G. McGuire, 88 of Winona Lake, Indiana went home to be with her Lord and Savior with her family by her side on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 7:54 am in Kosciusko Community Hospital. On June 20, 1923, Billie was born to Joseph and Cora (Vanhoose) Sammons in Floyd County, Kentucky. She married Burnis McGuire on February 24, 1940 in Floyd County, Kentucky. He preceded her in death in 1966. She lived most of her life in Kosciusko County, Indiana.Billie was a homemaker and was a member in the Baptist Faith. She is survived by 2 daughters; Deloris Jean McGuire, Winona Lake and Patricia Ann McGuire, Winona Lake; 3 sons, Norman (and wife Phyllis) McGuire, Warsaw; Herman McGuire, Warsaw and Dave (and wife Holly) McGuire, Warsaw; 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Billie is also preceded in death by 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am, Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw with Pastor Chad Burkhart officiating. Burial will follow at Grove Chapel Cemetery, Claypool, Indiana. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at the funeral chapel.
