Bill Linton

Bill Linton, 48 of Warsaw passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at 6:08 am in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Indiana. On July 10, 1965, he was born in Marion, Indiana to Jesse and Carolyn (Snider) Linton. He attended Warsaw Community High School, graduating in 1983. He was an electrician by trade, an avid fisherman and hunter and followed his favorite teams, the Cincinnati Reds and the Miami Dolphins. However, his passion was spending time with his beautiful daughters. He was a very loving father, son and brother and will be incredibly missed. He is survived by his daughters, Sara and Jesse Linton, Warsaw, his ex-wife, Shelly (Linton) Thomas and his longtime companion, Linda Edgerton, New Paris. His mother and stepfather, Carolyn and Clyde Sexton, Sr.; three sisters, Kelly (and spouse Mark) Harkins, Krista (and spouse Chad) Fletcher and Jana Sexton and her companion Randal Kephart and many nephews and nieces, Jeffrey Harkins, Nappanee, Tyler Harkins, North Webster, Zachary Sexton, Matthew, Spencer and Savanah Fletcher all of Warsaw and a great-niece, Aubrey Harkins, Nappanee. He is also survived by his grandmother, Waneta Linton, Van Buren and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Linton and his grandparents. A funeral service will be at 4:00 pm Saturday, January 18, 2014 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw with Jeff Pfeifer officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation hours will be from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 pm Friday, January 17, 2014 at the funeral chapel.
