Barbara Sue Knox

Barbara Sue Knox, age 64, of Warsaw, died in her home on Tuesday, May 19, 2020, surrounded by her loving family members. She was born December 16, 1955 in Bremen, Indiana, one of twelve children of David J. D. and Lydia (Schwartz) Miller. Barbara attended NorthWood High school and graduated in 1974. She was a School Bus Driver for Warsaw Community Schools and a long time Cardinal Center Employee. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, John Henry, Rudolph, and David Jr. Miller; two sisters, Roseanna and Emma Miller; a daughter, Jackie Renee Fisher; and her husband of 17 years, Lloyd Walter Knox. She leaves behind a large family who feel deeply the loss of their sister, mother, and grandmother. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her brothers, Bill (Teri) Miller of Nappanee, Elmer (Pam) Miller of Bourbon, and Carl (Roxy) of Nappanee; sisters, Mary “Beth” Smith of Goshen, Martha Welty of Warsaw, and Malinda (Kevin) Kierstead of Presque Isle, Maine; her four children, Chad Knox of Melbourne, FL, Kelly Morgan of Elkhart, Jodi Knox of Pearl City, Hawaii, and Brandy (Marcus) Schwartz of Auburn. Barbara was a proud Grandma of eleven adoring grandchildren. There will be a Private Visitation for family members. A Public Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 22, 2020 at New Life Christian Church & World Outreach in Warsaw, where she attended for 25 years. Pastor John B. Lowe will be officiating the service. Barbara’s family will remember her as a quiet and faithful friend, a woman who bravely sacrificed and provided for her family, and as a sympathetic listening ear for those around her. All arrangements for the family are entrusted to McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Memorial donations may be made to Animal Welfare League Building Fund 1048 S. 325 E. Pierceton, IN 46562
