Amos Poe Jr.

Amos Poe Jr., age 77, of Leesburg, Indiana passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at 11:10 AM in Courtyard Healthcare Center, Goshen, Indiana.  He was born on January 26, 1943 to Amos and Anna (McGuire) Poe in Floyd Co., KY. Amos was raised in Kentucky and moved to the Kosciusko Co. area after his military service.  He proudly served our country in the United States Army. After his service he worked for Fairmont Mobile Homes in Nappanee, Indiana. He was a member of the North Webster American Legion Post #253.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed his time in the great outdoors.  He enjoyed gardening as well as working on cars. He is survived by his daughters; Kimberly Poe of Warsaw and Liz Guillian of Warsaw, grandchildren; Sean Boyer of Warsaw, Brianna Guillian of Miami, FL, Alexandria Guillian of Warsaw, 3 siblings and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.  He was preceded in death by 7 siblings. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at 1:00 PM in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.  Visitation will be two hours prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Thursday, December 31, 2020 in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Chaplain Bob Jarboe will officiate. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. Memorial contributions in honor of Amos may be made to: North Webster American Legion Post #253 756 S.
