Alice V. Donovan

Alice V. Donovan, age 91, of Goshen, formally of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at 9:45 PM on Friday, August 31, 2012 at Greencroft Goshen, Goshen, Indiana. On February 26, 1921 she was born in Warsaw, Indiana to William and Viola (Shafer) Rowe. She was a lifetime resident of Warsaw. Alice married Joseph P. Donovan on September 7, 1946. Alice and Joe were able to enjoy 54 years together. Alice was a past member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Warsaw. She retired from L.M. Barry after 35 years. Alice is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a sister-in-law. Alice was preceded in death by her husband and all of her siblings: Ethel Insley, Mary Weaver, Helen Stackhouse, David Rowe, Vivian Sharp, Sarah (Sue) Lange, as well as 2 infant brothers. A private family ceremony will be held on September 30th 2012 at New Paris First Brethren Church. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery.
