Josephine 'Jo' Dumis, 89, of 1630 South County Farm Road, Warsaw, Indiana, died on 3/14/2010 at 12:20 am at Millers Merry Manor, Warsaw. She was born on February 3, 1921 in West New York, New Jersey.
Josephine was born to Frank and Josephine Turk. She married Robert Dumis in 1948 in New Jersey. He preceded her in death in 1988. She was a homemaker and devoted wife and mother. She moved from New Jersey to Warsaw in 1999. She had been a faithful member of the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses for 46 years. She had a deep love for God and the Bible. Known for her smile and cheerful disposition, she had a genuine love for people. Josephine is survived by a Son; Robert (and spouse Judy) Dumis, Woodland Park, New Jersey a Daughter; Helen (and spouse Brian) Winters, Warsaw, Indiana 4 Grandchildren; Rebecca, Debbie, Michael and Lori. 6 Great Grandchildren; Justin, Alyssa, Jonathan, Rachel, Jessica and Zoe.
Services will be held at The Kingdom Hall, 3191 West 200 South, Warsaw, Indiana on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 5:00 pm. Calling hours will be 4:00 - 5:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall on Saturday, March 20, 2010. Burial will be private.
