Laura Couture, 84 of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at 1:41 pm, Monday, July 16, 2012 at Mason Healthcare Center, Warsaw.
On August 30, 1927, she was born in Fort Wayne to Henry and Marcella (Kappel) Littlefield. She attended Precious Blood Grade School then graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1945. She was employed at Kune Abstract Co., for several years, before her marriage to Cletus. She married Cletus Couture on May 17, 1947 in Fort Wayne. He preceded her in death on May 11, 2009.
Laura moved to Warsaw from Fort Wayne in 1963. She was a retired co- owner of Executive Office Products, where she continued as Secretary-Treasurer unti the business closed in 2004.. Laura was also a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw ,Rosary Altar Society and “Young At Heart” Senior Group.
She is survived by four sons, Ronald (and spouse Marilyn) Couture, Jamestown, North Carolina, Dennis (and spouse Beth) Couture, Syracuse; David (Janelle) Couture, Fort Wayne and Jon (and spouse Stephanie) Couture, Indianapolis; Eleven grandchildren, two step grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and four step great grandchildren. Laura was also preceded in death by her parents, five sisters and one brother.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00, Friday, July 20, 2012 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw with Father Philip DeVolder officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Visitation is from 9:30 – 10:30 am Friday, July 20, 2012 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are to be made to Heartline Pregnancy Center, 1515 Provident Drive, Warsaw, Indiana 46580 and Masses at Sacred heart Catholic Church, 125 North Harrison Street, Warsaw, Indiana 46580.
