Robert E. Hobbs, 53, of of Warsaw, Indiana, died on 7/20/2010 at 12:35 PM at Kosciusko Community Hospital. He was born on August 23, 1956 in Linton, Indiana.
Robert was born to Ronald E. and Ella Mae (Hall) Hobbs. He was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, IN.He married Debra K. Plank on September 8, 1973 in Milford, IN. She preceded him on August 17, 2008. He worked for Zimmer Inc. for 35 years. He attended Warsaw Community Church. Robert was a member of the Cruisin Hoosiers Car Club. Robert is survived by 2 daughters: Sharla (and spouse Don) Music of Warsaw, IN Shondell (and spouse Rodney Puterbaugh) Hobbs of Fort Wayne, IN. 4 grandchildren: Kelsie Music and David Heaton both of Warsaw,IN; Trenton Puterbaugh and Kassidy Puterbaugh both of Fort Wayne,IN; 3 Sisters: Carolyn (and spouse Dave) Stockman of Warsaw, IN; Penny Short of Lebanon, IN; Melinda (and spouse Randy) Martinez of Cibolo, TX; 3 Brothers: Ronald "Keith"(and spouse Sandra) Hobbs of Etna Green, IN; Donnie (and spouse Christy) Hobbs of CA; Kevin (and spouse Lenn) Hobbs of Palestine, IN; Many nieces and nephews Robert was preceded by his wife Debra Hobbs and a son Robert Anthony Hobbs, and his parents.
Pastor Mike Kelly will officiate the services.
Services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel - Warsaw on Friday, July 23, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Calling hours will be 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the funeral chapel on Thursday, July 22, 2010. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery - Warsaw, IN.
