Bernice was born to Carlos and Myrtle (May) Meade. She moved to Kosciusko County from Ohio in 1965. She married Donald Owens on November 29, 1979 in Claypool, Indiana and was a homemaker. Bernice is survived by her Husband; Donald Owens, Silver Lake, Indiana 3 Daughters; Berneda (and spouse Randy) Runkle, Claypool, Indiana Tonya (and spouse Lamont) Rhoades, Columbia City, Indiana Tasha Owens, Clarksville, Tennessee 2 Sisters; Brookie (and spouse Glen) Williamson, Warsaw, Indiana Edna (and spouse Jim) Crist, Warsaw, Indiana 1 Brother; Fred (and spouse Marty) Meade, Silver Lake, Indiana 7 Grandchildren and several Nieces and Nephews.
Services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, Indiana on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 2:00 pm. Calling hours will be 4:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral chapel on Friday, April 9, 2010. Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery, Silver Lake, Indiana.
